Access Photography is a uniquely positioned photographic studio that specializes in all forms of PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY. Our work has been featured in every form of print media from magazine covers and editorials, commercial/advertising print, billboards, point-of-purchase, bus shelters, corporate annual reports, catalogs, business flyers, recording artists album covers, celebrity publicity portraits and website photography.
We have a proud tradition of clients returning time after time to have us collaborate with them. A great example of this complete trust in our vision is the page showcasing our ongoing work with Hollywood's newest rising star Carolyn Kelly Dodd (who plays 'Emma' on EPIX's "GET SHORTY"). Scrolling through our portrait galleries you will see more than one image or session spent creatively collaborating with actor and martial artist Mark Dacascos ('Zero' in John Wick 3: PARABELLUM) and Jeremy Sumpter (Peter Pan and Friday Night Lights TV show). There are many more examples and we will be adding images as we advance in our relationships with these wonderful talents, their agents, managers and publicists as well as many art directors in agencies, print editorial art directors and we have many valued clients who approach us directly for their advertising imagery needs in smaller regional markets.
Our personal work speaks to everything that moves us - and since we are involved with independent film making, many of our personal images are ideas for projects and some images are part of an actual work in progress. There have been a few occasions where we have been booked based on our personal work and vision.
Although we are PORTRAIT specialists our extensive experience and complete understanding of the visual needs of our clients bring us to what we call 'support image photography' - product shots, landscape - anything and everything that helps us bring our client's 'voice' to their specific markets. To this end we have travelled internationally, scuba dived, hung out of helicopters and found effective locations in every sort of terrain and geographical location. In a nutshell we are terrific problem solvers and enjoy the challenge each assignment brings.

Patsy Dunn: Photographer
Patsy's creative life began when she danced professionally for a ballet company in her home country of South Africa. The discipline along with exposure to stagecraft helped inform her work as a photographer along with her studies in fine art and art history. With well over 30 years as a photographer she is well known for a broad repertoire of style, having worked successfully in the highly competitive world of commercial/advertising photography. She has won numerous awards and been exhibited both in South Africa as well as the USA (Manhattan and Los Angeles). Best known for her high end beauty work and fine art portraits, she adores the craft of photography stating that "I photograph anything and anyone who moves me" and she will use any camera, no matter how simple or sophisticated to achieve results.
Sam Dobbins: Photographer
Sam has extensive experience in film as an actor and his creativity has extended beyond being in front of the camera.... he has moved behind it to emerge as one of the industry's finest headshot specialists. He therefore has a unique perspective in terms of understanding precisely what casting directors are looking for and what performers need visually to get in the room. He shoots with complete belief in the talent in front of his lens - genuinely seeking the best mix of elements such as location (he shoots anywhere and everywhere), always looking for ideal lighting and subliminal perspectives in order to obtain the best visual result for talent.
